A lifelong resident of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Katrina White has immersed herself into her faith and fellowship at The Morningstar Church. When she is not dedicating her time as an usher at church, Katrina spends her days working at the Pottstown YMCA. Her beautiful, smiling face greets members as she sees them around, always saying hello and asking about their day.
Katrina has raised three children on her own and is now blessed with nine grandchildren. Katrina is not only employed at the YMCA, but has also participated in the Livestrong program there as well. The program supported Katrina and kept her strong during cancer treatments. She is so grateful for this program as well as the Pottstown Cancer Center. The staff gave excellent care and support to her during these difficult times. Katrina has been treated for triple negative breast cancer and is currently having follow up appointments as a survivor. She encourages all women to get yearly mammograms. It can save lives. She is a shining example.
